Why Brighouse Locals Use Us
Brighouse is one of two Calderdale towns on our patch, alongside Clifton, and it sits next to Cleckheaton and Liversedge on the Kirklees side. It’s about five miles from our yard in Mirfield, where the business has been for over 20 years, first under the Boulds Bins name.
One thing worth knowing if you’re comparing quotes: our skips go on private land only, so there’s no Calderdale permit to arrange and no council fee to pay. You can also keep it as long as you need, within reason, at £150 for a 2-yard through to £320 for an 8-yard.

Frequently Asked Questions
Book at least 24 hours ahead and pick a weekday. We deliver to Brighouse Monday to Friday. Book a day or two out and you’ll get the delivery day you want.
Not with Tiger. Calderdale requires a permit when a skip sits on a public road or pavement, and we place skips on private land only: your driveway, garden or yard. In Brighouse you won’t need a permit, pay a council fee or wait on paperwork.
You can keep the skip for as long as you need, within reason, at no extra cost. Please call us to arrange collection once you’re done.
Most household, garden and DIY waste: furniture, wood, metal, plastics, packaging, garden waste, soil and rubble, bricks, tiles, carpets, kitchen units and general clearout junk. Mixed loads are fine. A few items need booking in or keeping separate, including fridges, tyres and mattresses. See the list of items that are not allowed in a skip. If you’re not sure about something, ring us before you load it.
No. The price you see covers delivery and collection, however long you keep the skip. A handful of special items carry a charge, agreed up front when you book: tyres £10 each, mattresses £20 each, fridges or freezers £100 each. Plasterboard costs nothing extra with us, and your skip sits on your own property, so there’s no permit fee either. Don’t overload the skip however, as that could incur additional cost.
