2 Yard Mini Skip Questions
Almost certainly. At under 6ft long it takes up less room than a small car, and on your own drive there’s no permit to worry about. If access is tight, send us a photo and we’ll tell you straight.
Yes. A bathroom strip-out usually fits a 2-yard skip, which gives you about 20 bin bags of room for the old suite, tiles and flooring. If you’re tackling a full kitchen or a bigger renovation at the same time, step up to the 4-yard.
Ring us and we’ll collect the full skip and deliver a fresh one. If you can see halfway through that one won’t be enough, call early so we can line the swap up with your job.
You can keep the skip for as long as you need, within reason, at no extra cost. Please call us to arrange collection once you’re done.
No. The price you see covers delivery and collection, however long you keep the skip. A handful of special items carry a charge, agreed up front when you book: tyres £10 each, mattresses £20 each, fridges or freezers £100 each. Plasterboard costs nothing extra with us, and your skip sits on your own property, so there’s no permit fee either. Don’t overload the skip however, as that could incur additional cost.
Book at least 24 hours ahead and pick a weekday, because we deliver Monday to Friday. We won’t promise same-day miracles like some firms, but when we say we’re coming, we come. Book a day or two ahead and you’ll get the delivery day you want.
